Dr Anthony Brown graduated from Melbourne University in 1985. Currently working as a Senior Medical Officer at the Mareeba Hospital, Dr Brown previously worked for 22 years as a Rural Proceduralist GP partner and Visiting Medical Officer at the local public hospital in the South West Victorian town of Camperdown. During this time Dr Brown was part of a Caesarean section service for surrounding towns. Dr Brown was a member of the steering committee to set up the Greater Green Triangle GP Education & Training (GGTGPET) training provider, becoming the Vice Chair then Chairman of GGTGPET. Dr Brown was also a Board member for Southern GP Education & Training, the Secretary then Chair of Otway Division of General Practice and has been on the Board for South West Health Care hospital Board.
