Overview
To provide excellent vocational medical training to maintain the skilled General Practice and generalist medical workforce required to meet the health care needs of our regional, rural, Indigenous and remote communities.To prosper and achieve real growth, we must:
- Increase the efficiency and measurable performance of TMT’s business practice
- Increase the efficiency and measurable performance of TMT’s education programs
- Address Northern Australian medical workforce needs in relation to training, numbers, distribution and retention of general practitioners.
- Increase training capacity
- Innovatively collaborate with key stakeholders to promote improved health outcomes in Northern Australia
- Develop and provide education opportunities for IMGs
