Tropical Medical Training (TMT) delivers the General Practice training program throughout Northern and North Western Queensland and assists with the Prevocational General Practice Placement Program.
- TMT’s administrative office in Townsville facilitates the regional centres of Cairns, Mackay, Atherton Tablelands, Torres Strait and North West Queensland
- Each region offers GP Registrars a range of learning experiences
- TMT supports GP Registrars to move between regions to enhance skills and increase training opportunities
