Advanced and Extended Skills Training
Advanced Rural Skills Training
Advanced Rural Skills Training (ARST) is open to all GP Registrars, with a genuine interest in rural general practice. ARST positions for the following training year will be advertised to GP Registrars who may then express an interest in their prefered discipline.
In most cases, an interview with the relevant hospital will take place, subsequently TMT will notify sucessful GP Registrars.
Paediatrics, emergency medicine, anaesthetics, obstetrics, surgery, psychiatry/mental health, adult internal medicine, public health, Aboriginal health, small town general practice, remote health, and any other discipline as approved by the ACRRM/ RACGP, GPET and TMT.
